MISSION (NOT SO) IMPOSSIBLE
I
hated boys during my high school. I always knew its reason, but behaved as
though I didn’t. I don’t mind letting the cat out of the bag now -
I AM SO JEALOUS
OF THEM!
I always envied
how my cousin brothers were treated. They could go out to play
anytime; they get to play first with a new toy; they get to keep the
cool stickers with comic books & still they are excused when they
break a glass or spill the milk.
I wonder why even
now girls are being curtailed from those ‘things’- exclusively
for boys. Thinking upon the actual reasons of this distinction gets
on my nerves; there are always futile discussions & never a
practical solution. These general (& totally personal) notions
might not be acceptable to all the boys out there. Still I couldn’t
agree more to the fact that boys enjoy greater advantages in almost
every field than girls. (No offence guys!)
And all I want in
my next life is to be a boy, so that I won’t have to live inside
four walls & a roof; so that I get to take my birth name to my
tombstone.
Life is so unfair
at times. There are situations where you get devalued & ignored
only because you are a woman. That’s why the top priority wish of
my bucket list is to conquer everything that I was neglected because
I am born a ‘she’. And I swear there won’t be any girl in this
universe who hasn’t thought about the same for once at least, no
matter how impossible a mission it seems.
