Life
behind jail
“Life is not a problem to be solved,
but a reality to be experienced”
‘Prison’………………
Fear is the first thing that
comes to our mind while hearing this word……From earlier Days onwards we are
being hearing that prison is a place were the criminals, terrorists and thieves
live. These people are always been neglected by the society. The society looks
them with repugnant eyes.
But………..The day we visited the
prison, changed us a lot.
We can categorize the people in a jail into 3 :a)Those who have done big crimes b)innocent people who
have not done any crime c)those who have
done crimes due to some circumstances and they regret for what they have done….
All of us like to live in a world
of freedom. But the biggest difference between us and them is lack of freedom. Their
freedom is restricted inside the palisade of the prison.
We all have a criminal mind
inside us. There is a criminal in every person. But we suppress the criminals
inside us and lives the rest of life. But due to some circumstances in the
lives of others, they became convicts.
There are people who goes back to jail and considers jail as their home due to the ignorance of society shown towards them. For them when they come back from jail after their term of punishment, no one is there to love him. No one is there to care him. Sometimes we impulse these people to do the crime by ignoring them from the society.
When we visited there….we could see the thirst for love in their eyes. Some of the eyes were regretting.
“Failures may happen in everyone’s life. It is a part of life. If you don’t fail, you don’t learn. If you don’t learn , you’ll never change.”
When we were children,we were used to fall and rise again and again, and that made us to learn how to walk…Today when our brothers and sisters fall midst in running race we are responsible for helping them to rise and encouraging them to reach the finishing point.
Lets pray the failure happened in their life may help them to choose the right path in rest of their life.
A special thanks to Sabu achan for taking me along with others to aluva sub jail and for entirely changing my concept about jail.
